General Operational Terms of Service


You should not enter into a service agreement or accept service with Focus Window Cleaning if you do not agree with any of the terms below.

Any person entering into a service agreement with or accepting service from Focus Window Cleaning shall hereafter be referred to as “the client” or “client”.

Commercial Cleaning

House Cleaning

Payment is due the day of the cleaning. 

If you cannot be on site, please ensure payment can be collected by the cleaner on the day of the cleaning

  • This can be done by:
    • Leaving a completed cheque
    • Email Transferring funds to
    • Leaving cash with a clear note to explain it’s for Focus Window Cleaning

The client must be paid up on all prior services or future services will be suspended and the cleaning time will no longer be reserved.

Payments left unpaid for 30 days will be charged a 15% late fee which represents additional work needed to collect payment.  This fee will need to be paid before service will continue.

Payments left unpaid for 60 days will be sent to collections.

The client agrees to pay all legal fees incurred by Focus Window Cleaning if legal services become required to collect on unpaid invoices.

Loose Fixtures

Our goal is to take great care of your property and we are insured for accidental damage.

All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed by the client prior to service. Items excluded from liability are: cash, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.

We will not take responsibility for damage to loose fixtures such as:

  • Any fixture or contents of a fixture fastened precariously (loosely, unreliably, insecure, risky)
    • This includes but is not limited to:
      • Pictures
      • Sinks
      • Plumbing
      • Electrical
      • Faucets
      • Tiles
      • Shelves
      • Dishes
      • Ornaments
      • Lights
      • Stereo equipment
      • Computer equipment


We take your privacy, workflow and data security very seriously.  When we clean, we do not move or organize paperwork.

The client is wholly responsible for backing up, saving and securing any data on site such as:

  • Customer, company or personal data on a computer (running or not)
  • Customer, company or personal data on a server (running or not)
  • Papers left out

In the unlikely event there is a power outage or a piece of equipment loses power during our visit, Focus Window Cleaning will not be held responsible for any data loss suffered by the client.


We love animals and want yours to be happy, safe and secure.

The client is entirely responsible for any animals in their care.  It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure any animals under the client’s care is secured (locked in a room, kenneled, caged, put outside in a secure area, etc.) before our arrival.

Focus Window Cleaning will not be responsible for the loss or recovery of any animal which might escape for any reason during our cleaning.

Focus Window Cleaning reserves the right to refuse part or all of a service for any animal the cleaners perceive to be dangerous (such as an aggressive dog or bird) or unsanitary (such as a muddy dog in the house).
